The Queen of Death Gospel; Louise Lemón is back with ‘Shattered Heart’ on 21st September - our second taste of what's to come after she announced the new album at the end of July. The album marks a significant milestone in her career, as she takes the reins and showcases her exceptional talents as both a songwriter and producer.

Louise Lemón is the kind of artist that can capture both the softness and the emptiness of loneliness and turn it into pure gold. She has a knack for conjuring beauty from disparity with her enchanting sound -bringing pain, desire and desperation together. With vocals reminiscent of Cat Power, Lana Del Rey and PJ Harvey’s open and airy noir-sound over a dark and rich piano instrumentation, ‘Shattered Heart’ is a beautifully honest tale of the overwhelming power of heartbreak.

Commenting on the new single Louise Lemón said; "I wrote the first line of this song on a plane in the middle of the sky just hours after something that felt like a gunshot straight through my heart. It’s also the first song I wrote for this album and it is just as much that overpowering feeling of a shattered heart as the feeling of not wanting something, of finally being able to see someone with clarity. It is so straight forward but still very spiritual, my whole spirit is in it, both the darkest parts but also the parts that rise above and that takes all the pieces of a shattered heart and make it even more warm, more loving, for a love that lasts."
